Drawing – Tail end
April 14th, 2006 – A picture in a magazine caught my eye and I started sketching the outline. As I got through the outline and was looking at beginning the shading and texture, I found I really liked the negative space aspects of the drawing and left it as it was.
Analysis – A purposefully incomplete drawing (although to me a drawing never seems complete, it’s more like I just think I’ve had enough or want to move on). The proportions and angles seem a little off on the taillights. Needed more critical review of the sketch before firming up the outline.

Note – I’ve decided to start posting my drawings to my blog. For a few reasons… To share the art, to stimulate me to draw more, and to keep a record of them all. Click on the small image to get the larger size view. There will be a small flood of posts as I put up all of my back dated drawings, then only as I produce new works.
