Drawing – Black Widow
November 11th, 2007 – It’s been a fair amount of time since I have drawn anything. Finally my daughters just asked me to draw with them for an hour or so and I got into it. I choose the spider out of the blue, but liked the lines and the dark coloring which forces some pre-thought on how you’ll do the shading.
Analysis – I was surprised at how easy the drawing came out for not having done anything for a few months. The lines came easy, and the shading just happened. I wasn’t really even thinking much, just chatting with my daughters and letting it happen. I was in the zone, so to speak.
