Drawing - Dragonfly

posted in Art |

December 12th, 2006 - No particular reason for choosing this subject to draw other than I really liked the intricate lines involved with the wings.

Analysis - My shading is taking on a maturity through practice. It starts to come easier and flows instead of having to really work at it. The wings require a very precise line and I think I grew tired of it… as it seems a little sloppy in places. Focus! focus! :)

Note - I’ve decided to start posting my drawings to my blog. For a few reasons… To share the art, to stimulate me to draw more, and to keep a record of them all. Click on the small image to get the larger size view. There will be a small flood of posts as I put up all of my back dated drawings, then only as I produce new works. :)
