Drawing of a US Quarter on 2008.03.14March 14th, 2008 - Finding something to draw when you’re not really in the mood can be difficult. My daughters again wanted me to draw with them, so I randomly picked out a quarter and thought it would be interesting to sketch.

Analysis - Not much time was spent… maybe 30 minutes or less, so it’s obviously very incomplete. The lines are pretty good for being 400% increase in size. Seeing the detail on the quarter was the hardest part.

Note - I’ve decided to start posting my drawings to my blog. For a few reasons… To share the art, to stimulate me to draw more, and to keep a record of them all. Click on the small image to get the larger size view. There will be a small flood of posts as I put up all of my back dated drawings, then only as I produce new works. :)
