2010.12.29 – I drew this a few months ago, but never got around to posting it. It’s not anyone I know, but rather a picture off the internet. I just wanted to practice facial features and hair.

February 22nd, 2010 – For Aleah’s 11th birthday, she picked an old picture of herself holding Neko. Although her birthday isn’t until August, I needed to get started on this early since I won’t be here for the 3 months right up to her birthday. I really like how it turned out.

January 4th, 2009 – Another drawing out of my animal book. It’s where I go for inspiration. This African Moon Moth is from a small photo where the moth has just hatched and it’s wings are just finished drying out.

March 14th, 2008 – Finding something to draw when you’re not really in the mood can be difficult. My daughters again wanted me to draw with them, so I randomly picked out a quarter and thought it would be interesting to sketch.

April 9th, 2007 – I occasionally go down to a local bar to listen to ‘open mike’ night. And on this particular evening I thought I’d take my sketchbook and draw as I was listening. I really liked the look of all the bottles on the bar, and just started drawing.
